Beach
The community has a private sandy beach on Goose Pond with a roped swimming area and swim dock.
Boating
Our boat dock accommodates a limited number of motorcraft. There is a storage and launch area for kayaks and canoes. Several boat owners have made their kayaks, canoes, and rowboats available for community use.
Neighborhood Activities
Fishing Dock
At least 8 fish species are present here. In addition, the pond is stocked every spring and fall with catchable trout and broodstock salmon.
Hiking
Easy access to many hiking destinations including the Appalachian Trail and October Mountain State Forest.
Racquet Sports
We have two fenced-in clay courts which can be used for both tennis and pickle ball play.
Annual Dinner
A dinner is held each summer in one of the area’s many fine restaurants.
Beach Barbecue
An annual event on the beach, featuring ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a good time!
Book Club
Our Book Club is active from June through September, with books chosen by the participants and moderated by a volunteer each month. The book club is a great way to meet new friends.
Poker Group
The poker group meets weekly for tournament-style play. The entry fee is $20 and all skill levels are welcome. The emphasis is on laughing a lot and having a good time.
Mah Jong and Canasta
Several games are available at varying skill levels. This is another way to meet new friends!
